PoINT Archiver provides secure, cost effective and network-wide filter based archiving and migration. The content of defined folders is monitored by PoINT Archiver. Files contained in these folders are copied, moved or migrated into an archive according to defined filters. PoINT Archiver stores the archives on file systems like NAS hard disks or on optical media like DVD/BD. PoINT Archiver can even use both technologies by replicating the archive to an additional file system or to optical media, thus improving data availability.
